PRATOLA CAMPIONE: BATTE IL S. PELINO E VA IN PROMOZIONE

E’ fatta. Con la vittoria in terra marsina contro la buona squadra del S.Pelino, il Pratola conquista matematicamente l’accesso al campionato di promozione dopo aver dominato per l’intero campionato di prima categoria. Il goal vincente realizzato dal bravo Tiberi che da fuori area con uno dei suoi soliti tiri insaccava in rete. A nulla sono valse le azioni offensive del S.Pelino che ha da recriminare per la sfortuna ai primi minuti di gioco quando è stato il palo a salvare il risultato per i peligni che però hanno colpito anch’essi un palo ed una traversa ed hanno anche sciupato un paio di occasioni favorevoli. Tutto comunque perfetto. Col mister da fuori campo (perché squalificato) a gridare schemi di attacco e difesa. L’uomo in più questa volta è stato il pubblico che , pur fuori casa , ha fatto sentire forte il sostegno ai calciatori peligni. I tifosi si sono poi riversati negli spogliatoi per festeggiare l’evento mentre a molti calciatori è stato fatto il bagno con secchiate d’acqua , per fortuna calda vista la temperatura invernale di domenica . La festa è stata divertente anche perché il “bagno” è stato riservato anche ai dirigenti che ben volentieri hanno accettato lo scherzo. Tra i più bagnati il cronista Stefano Mastrangioli, della famosa emittente sulmonese “Videoesse” accolto molto affettuosamente dai calciatori  perché li ha seguiti in tutte le partite stabilendo  con essi un vero rapporto di amicizia ,simpatico e divertente…quindi “Bagno” con grosse secchiate d’acqua. Domenica prossima il Pratola ospiterà il Cese che viaggia al secondo posto e che ha accolto i peligni, nella partita di andata, con grande amicizia sportiva riservata anche ai tifosi. Quindi domenica, ultima partita in casa per i peligni…grande festa in attesa della chiusura del campionato che per i campioni avverrà tra due domeniche a Goriano Sicoli.

PRATOLA CLINCHES DIVISION TITLE and advances to next division  with victory over S. Pelino

It's done!  with the victory in enemy territory against a formidable opposing team from S. Pelino, Pratola mathematically clinches top spot in it's division along with a promotion into the next category after having dominated the lead all season long. It was Tiberi scoring the winning goal with one of his typical shot from outside the 18 yard box. S. Pelino's offensive tactics would not gain them any goals. Their best opportunity came in the first minutes of play, when the goal post saved the game for the Peligni. Pratola too hit a goal post and a crossbar, they even squandered a couple of goal scoring chances. However all ended well, even though the coach was not allowed on the field after a dismissal and he could only shout instructions from the stands. The extra man this time was the crowd, even though the team was playing out of town, the fans were loud in supporting the team. Following the game the fans invaded the players' dressing room to celebrate the victory. many of the player were  showered with lots of pails of warm water, given the cold temperature. The celebrations were quite entertaining as all of the coaching staff was treated to the same showering, who gracefully accepted the prank. Among the showered  was reporter Stefano Mastrangioli, from the famous press sulmonese "Videoesse", welcomed by the players, because he followed them throughout all of the games and establishing a true friendship... and therefore a shower with big pails of water. Next Sunday Pratola will host Cese who is  currently in second place and in turn hosted Pratola in the first round with great sportsmanship also reserved for the fans . So next week will be the final home game of the season for the Peligni and surely a big celebration is expected in anticipation of the end of the season which for the team will actually be in two weeks at Goriano Sicoli.
