The L'Aquila Earthquake Fund - Brant Fall Gala that was held at Rossini Lodge on Saturday October 17, 2009 was a tremendous success. Guests were treated with a fantastic menu featuring locally renowned Chef Jason Gibson and were entertained by The Pino Cea Band from Toronto. A slide show presented by Dr. Maria Cantalini-Williams, Director of Faculty of Education at Nipissing University, Brantford campus was the highlight of the evening and genuinely portrayed the true devastation that occurred in L'Aquila Italy on April 6 of this year. The Fall Gala Fundraiser raised $17,000.00 that evening and in total for this committee we have proudly raised $37,272.47 this year which we are now in the process of deciding where this money would be most beneficial.  he Committee of the L'Aquila Earthquake Fund - Brant would like to extend their sincere gratitude to each and everyone one of you for supporting us.
